The joining together ceremonially of two people can take many forms. The phrase "wedding " has been used throughout my site, and is intended to be inclusive of all the forms now available to couples. I decided on this form rather than accidentally excluding any form of union. 

30 years as an interior designer gave me a good idea of themes and eras that are so important to modern couples.

Their wedding should be a reflection and fusion of their personalities.

My job is really as interpreter and bank of knowledge.

I have knowledge of most eras and themes and can recreate the “feel” from available items. Whether it be a traditional ceremony or Art Deco, Georgian, Boho or fairies and fantasy.

The scrapbook journals, notebooks and place marker cards are created with a sense of fun. The emphasis is on long term enjoyment and minimal impact to the environment.

Many elements are recycled such as natural fabrics like hessian and lace vintage buttons , old greetings cards and letters (the letters get copied to use). Charms and beads complete the look as book dangles or embellishments. I also use natural materials found outside such as driftwood , seed case and plants.

My items are entirely bespoke and I have a questionnaire on my website to guide the creation of each item.

The books have 100 sides(50 pages) and roughly 30 storage sides of pouches and pockets, 30 writing pages and 50 sides that can be left for couples to add their own items. The “blank” pages have themed illustrations and may contain more writing space or pockets.

This basic structure can be used for books suited to all special occasions, a popular choice is a matching honeymoon or travel book..

The books have special storage pages for my place cards which can be matched to a theme. The cards are roughly credit card size with a loop at the top and writing space on the back using handmade paper. There is an attached tag with space for the name of the intended recipient.

The A6 size notebooks are made with recycled manilla envelopes that are folded to create a reusable cover that holds on one or two of the notebooks. The covers are decorated to echo the bespoke theme.
